Travel Recommendations

If you are joining us from afar, we recommend flying into one of the following airports:

  • San Francisco International Airport (SFO)

SFO is the largest airport in the region, offering the most flight options. It's about a 2-hour drive to Napa Valley. While traffic can be unpredictable, the route is straightforward. Renting a car is highly recommended, though private car services and shuttles are also available with advance booking.

  • Sacramento International Airport (SMF)

SMF is about 1.5 hours from Napa Valley and is a great option for those flying in from other parts of California or the West Coast. Traffic is typically lighter on this route compared to the Bay Area airports, making for an easier drive.

  • Charles M. Schulz–Sonoma County Airport (STS)

STS, located in Santa Rosa, is the closest airport to Napa Valley, just a 1-hour drive away. While it’s a smaller airport with limited flights, it’s a fantastic choice if you can find a convenient route. Bonus: some airlines offer free wine check-in for your bottles!
