Frequently Asked Questions
What is the attire for the wedding day?
Our wedding celebration is a black tie affair and we would love to see our family and friends dressed up with us. Go all out! Wear the dress or tux you’ve always dreamed of — this is your moment to shine too.
Gentlemen, black tuxedos are preferred and ladies, please wear gowns/long dresses in vibrant colors. The wedding will take place both indoors and outdoors, but not on grass—so feel free to wear heels!
We can’t wait to see you looking and feeling your best. For more details and inspiration please visit the attire tab.
What is the welcome party attire?
“California Chic” - Think cocktail attire! For women, dresses, jumpsuits, or elevated separates with heels or dressy sandals are perfect. For men, lightweight suits or sport coats with dress pants, a tucked dress shirt, and loafers or elevated leather shoes. Ties are optional. Layers are encouraged, as Napa evenings can get cool.
What will the weather be like?
Early October in Calistoga is typically sunny and warm, with daytime temperatures ranging from the mid-70s to mid 80s—though it can occasionally get hotter. Evenings tend to cool off into the 50s, so we recommend bringing a light jacket or wrap to stay comfortable.
Can I bring a guest or my kids?
We are so excited to celebrate this day with our nearest and dearest. Due to limited space, we’re only able to accommodate the guests listed on your invitation.
We kindly ask that this celebration be adults-only and hope it offers you a chance to relax and enjoy a special weekend getaway!

Where should I stay?
Please take a look at the “Travel & Stay” tab to view hotel options in the Calistoga area. If you haven’t booked your accommodations yet, we highly recommend doing so as hotels tend to book up well in advance.
Where should we eat, drink, and wine our way through Napa?
We put together a guide and map with some of our favorite spots to eat, drink, and explore. You’ll find everything from great wineries to incredible restaurants. Be sure to check out the “things to do” page as you plan your weekend!
What are the transportation options for the weekend?
We recommend renting a car for the weekend, especially if you plan to explore the Napa Valley area, visit wineries, or stay outside of central Calistoga. That said, there are several options available:
For the Welcome Party (Saturday, October 4):
Rideshare (Uber/Lyft): These are available in Calistoga, but service may be limited later in the evening, so plan accordingly.
Driving: Hotel valet parking will be available at the venue both days.
Calistoga Shuttle: A $1 on-demand local shuttle operates daily until 9:00 PM. It’s a great option for short trips within Calistoga. You can request a ride by phone or app.
Private car services and shuttles are also available with advance booking.
What are the transportation options for the wedding day on October 5th?
We’ll be offering guest shuttles to and from the venue to make things easy and stress-free.
Shuttles will pick up guests from hotels in Calistoga, and on-demand return shuttles at the end of the night will provide direct drop-offs at accommodations in Calistoga and nearby areas.
We’ll share exact times and pickup details closer to the wedding. No need to worry about driving—just focus on having a great time!
If you prefer not to use the shuttle, we highly recommend using Uber or another ride share service.
